What do you consider as an indispensable addon for your FSX experience (other than payware aircaft)

TrackIR and FSUIPC4 (registered version)

Those 2 addons are essential for me.

AccuFeel, OrbX scenery and REX

I have 3 or 4 that I would not want to fly without -

it probably has to be voice recognition that has transformed fsx for me. So Multi Crew Experience would be my first answer.

However, it's unfair not to mention that the immersion also comes from combining MCE with one or more of the following depending on the type of aircraft/flight:

FS Captain, RC4, Air Hauler, GSX ground services, DBS Airport GPS, & UT2.

A six-pack of whatever is on sale at the local market!

Lol! Now you're talking ...

None really. I recently installed FS X on to a new computer, and it was amazing how fast and well it ran by itself, all the sliders up, with "Acceleration" as the only add-on. A few add-on aircraft later, and the sliders are back down again. <_<

I suppose the only add-on I go to great lengths to re-install (adjusting AI traffic, etc into the bargain) is Fly Tampa's Kai Tak airport and Hong Kong city scenery. The rest is nice to have, but I could do without it, so not indispensable.

I find my investments are best returned by first FS utilities (EZDok, Active Sky etc.), then aircraft (as I generally only fly one at a time), then ground related upgrades (meshes, UTX, scenery packs for regions like FTX stuff) and finally location based scenery...

Learning to use and getting use to FSX!

My setup consists of a full Saitek cockpit + TrackIR.

In addition to aircraft I have FSUIPC, REX and ORBX scenery installed.

I also have FS Global (old version) and various freeware mesh packages installed (you can use FS2004 mesh in FSX, so there is quite a lot of good freeware out there).

My other 300GB worth of addons is no longer in use for various reasons, so the above three is what I regard as essentials.

Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

FSUIPC!

We would not be able to have to much fun without all Pete's fixes...

Also REX, Weather engine like AS2012, FS Global Real Weather etc... and then the rest - Ezdok, sceneries...
