FSDT KORD/Chicago Taxi Light Artifacts

Recommended Posts

Hi Danny,

Can I just check a few things.

Can you look in the <FSX DIR>\Texture , locate the envmap.bmp file, rightclick properties and tell me right at the bottom if the readonly box has anything in it?

and can you tell me the size in bytes?

Steve

Hi Steve.

The file isn't checked for read-only and the file size is 64KB and size on disk is 68 KB

The DX9envmap.bmp is 64 KB and 68KB and no read-only. . The GlobalEnv_AC_Chrome.dds is 1.50 MB and 1.5 MB.

And no-read only for the GlobalEnv_AC_Chrome.dds as well.

Move the slider one notch to the left, Jim. That should fix it.

Moving the slider one notch didn't fix it for me. I had to go to the second notch, so I put it back and I'll leave well enough alone and live with it.

What slider?  Legacy slider?  FSDT KORD is a legacy product?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Jim

Never mind.  I just moved the Legacy Scenery slider two clicks to the left (well, all the way to the left) as suggested by Danny and that is the fix.

Best regards,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Yes, it was the legacy slider. It took the slider all the way over to the left to get rid of the anomaly associated with the green lights. But, I have a different issue Steve is looking into right now.

Great! Glad that fixed it Jim.

Sorry, I should have replied last night - it was midnight for me, and I had what I needed to look into the problem, but I should have explained what I was actually doing! I have sent you a pm

Not a problem Steve. It's perfectly clear what was happening. Glad to help you out with it.

And thanks for the awesome utility.
