September 22, 201312 yr Author OK - so it was a left-over SweetFX file (dxgi). Deleted that and I'm back in the air - in crisp clarity. I thought SweetFX was DX10 compatible? Anyway - thanks a lot for the help and hints! Cheers Mallard
September 22, 201312 yr .....I thought SweetFX was DX10 compatible?..... SweetFX works very well with DX10, but obviously not if there's some crab left. This dxgi is the dll of SweetF for DX10! It's recommended to have ALL or NOTHING of SweeFX in the FSX root folder. Spirit
September 22, 201312 yr Author Yep - I had FSX running in DX10 after clearing the file, closed the sim, put all the SweetFX files back into the FSX folder and now it's working... Thanks again for the help Mallard
September 22, 201312 yr Glad you got it sorted, Mallard - thanks for helping out, gents. :drinks: I've referred to this issue a few times in these threads, as Mallard is not the only one who has experienced this (besides me!!). SweetFX, ENBSeries, Mr.Haandi - any of the several post-processing addons can cause this to happen, and have done so several time in these last three days, with considerable time spent with Teamviewer sessions fixing it. Anyway - all's well that ends well!
