New DX10 fixer and addon converterX

Recommended Posts

I had the same question and the answer back was that you don't need Addon Converter X once you have installed the DX10 Fixer.  I deleted the Addon Converter X folder as a result.

Addon Converter was introduced to allow FS9 aircraft, etc., to be used in FSX, not necessarily to make them work in DX10 - the fact that some do, is luck, but the Fixer is very specifically made to make DX10 usable, and to convert such incompatible objects as it finds them. In those cases, a bit of reading is needed, as there may well be some 'manual labour' involved.

All the Best,
