Wrong aircraft configuraton loading question

Recommended Posts

So I have downloaded a bunch of liveries from the download manager and they are installed in FSX.

Today, I loaded up Alaska N553AS and in FSX the "details" is showing tail #PH-BXH which I believe is for the KLM 738.

So I decided to fly and it was displaying a different autopilot panel (I think the Honeywell vs. Collins) and weights were in kg's instead of pounds.

What's up with this?  I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

This could be one of the corrupted profiles.

PMDG are aware of the problems, I believe. Not sure why they haven't been fixed.

I had this problem as well, this is what Ryan (Tabs) had me do which fixed it:

First, exit FSX. Then delete all NGX folders at this location: C:Users\(Your Windows Username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\SimObjects  (you can also search %appdata% in the start menu on Windows 7, this will take you to the Roaming folder)

Re-start FSX, load the plane and check the CDU again. See if it has the right tail number and options.
