Hi, Have downloaded this scenery but the author does not give any info. on where to start you flight. I looked for Hanmer Springs airport of which this scenery is suppose to be located but I look in flight simulator and there is no listing for it. I hate when authors do this. Anyone have this and where does one start to get a good look? Thanks, S.

There is no airport at Hanmer Springs. But then a Google Search would have told you that. Looks like a flight from Christchurch following a river north by northwest or so will get you there though; about an hour's flying time with a light plane.

Howdy,Actually, there is an airfield (not airport) at Hanmer. Primarily, it is used for ag work (there is a simple haybarn used for ac shelter :-) ), but visitors do fly in now and then to visit the hot springs. Was up there just last month.You can download the AIP for NZHR at: http://www.aip.net.nz/

HI thereStart From Kaikoura (NZKI) and fly South along the coastline. YOu will see the photo textured area as it extends to the coast. Once in the photo textured area fly broadly west to head towards Hanmer. If you get Robin Corn`s Kaikoura scenery you`ll have a nice photo textured airport to take off from too.Have fun, I take my hat off to the photo scenery guys and the tireless work that must have gone on with the Autogen Annotator!
