FPS gain while FMC window open or mouse pointer in FSPax window.

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow simers,

I've noticed a gain of about 5 fps every time I open the fmc window. I've tried minimizing the number 2 FMC and draging it to the point of just seeing a corner of it, but this doesn't seem to work as well as just opening the number 1 FMC.

I have also noticed that if I put my mouse cursor on my fspax little greyed out box I gain about 10 fps.

Anybody else have stuff like this happening?

Everyone. When you put mouse pointer above FMC, FSPax, or any other opened window - it's like your mouse pointer is not visible in VC anymore :)

Oh...ok, thanks. I did not know that sir. I just freaking gained 10 fps for a lock of 30 fps on a laptop! Nice

Someone should make a tweak or hack to put the mouse pointer a guillie suit for FSX mode so it don't fully recognize it without affecting its functions for better performance at all times... if that even makes sense.
