Milviz F-86 causes Prepare3d applicatin to crash

Recommended Posts

When selecting the F-86 aircraft the program will run fine until I select the same aircraft but different skin, or when, for instance, selecting A2A Cessna Skyhawk after the F-86.  Prepar3d application will crash.  I have scanned my computer and it is free of malware ect.  Here is the fault I get:

What is your OS and PC specs.

Is the Milviz F86 approved for P3D?

What I would do first is:

Reboot the PC.

Start P3D with the default Mooney Bravo.

Load your aircraft.

Do your flight.

Exit P3D.

Reboot your PC.

See if you ever get an error this way.

While Milviz allows their aircraft to be used in P3D they offer no technical support if you do.

I always get a "P3D has stoped working" error message when I close P3D after using the Sabre in it.

I get almost the same error too when changing the Sabre to another skin or aircraft:

I cannot see this going away until Milviz supports P3D.

If you do not select another aircraft after a flight:

If you just do this:

Reboot the PC.

Start P3D with the default Mooney Bravo.

Load your aircraft (any aircraft).

Do your flight in that aircraft.

Exit P3D.

*** Do you get a crash here?

Reboot your PC.

Note:
IMO, you have not given enough information about your set up for anyone to help very much.

The error message you have does not point to Milvix as the failing module that caused your problem.

Have you seen any other pilots reporting your problem?

Done what you have suggested and I get no crash. Application crashes only when the MILVIV F-86 is selected. The application will crash when attempting to select another aircraft or skin after using the F-86 or when, flying the F-86, selecting to exit program.

My system:

Dell Studio XPS 435 MT

i7 940 @2.93Ghz

12 gig RAM

NVIDIA GTX 460

WIN 7 64 bit

If you just do this:

Load the MILVIV F-86.

Do your flight in the MILVIV F-86.

Exit P3D.

Just OOC - AFTER using the F-86 and BEFORE exiting P3D - what happens if you reload the default Mooney and then exit? Still crash?
