CTD on exit flight

Recommended Posts

I get a "fatal error occurred" when I exit a flight, either with the esc button or the FSX dropdown menu.  I uninstalled the button control and the problem went away.  I reinstalled the program and it came back.  I used the configurator to disable fs2crew and the problem went away.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

according to the xml file, the programs launched are couatl, fscaptain, goflight FSX data bridge, opusFSX, and Ultimate traffic2.  I changed all of the "DISABLED<FALSE>/DISABLED" lines in the xml file to "true", but it still crashed.  the only other thing that's been installed is soundstream and widefs (which is disabled).

Didn't help.  I also ran gamebooster to kill "unnecessary" services; didn't help.  I noticed that as FSX crashed, four files were created/modified:  FSX.cfg, FSX.CFG.TXT, dxdiag.txt and fdr.dat.

I'm going to uninstall FS2crew and then uninstall Airbus and then reinstall Airbus and then FS2crew.  Maybe something got corrupted in the install.

I really appreciate the time you're taking to help me - this seems like kind of a wild goose chase.

(BTW, I have just about all of the other FS2Crew addon's and haven't had a lick of problems with them - i'm pretty sure it's got to be something unique to my system.)

I'll let you know if I ever have any success.

I uninstalled both programs, disabled AVG, re-downloaded the program, reinstalled AXE and FS2Crew.  Every time I ran it I came up with the same fault:  The .GAU_unloaded doesn't exist as a file anywhere on my computer.

Remote Desktop?
If all have the same problem that is certainly not on my computer!
How about if you post the solution here in the forum?
It's always the same error messages:

Faulting module name: AB_ND_GDI.DLL, version: 1.2.0.26, time stamp: 0x52282ff

and

Faulting module name: FS2CrewAirbusButton.GAU_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5243b611

One other person reported that.

Many people have this problem, you just need to google...

If you get this crash when you exit FSX, what version of the Airbus are you using?

Are you all using (the latest) Hotfix 18C?

Or are you using only V1.15 without Hotfix 18C?

Also let me know if you're using DX10 preview.

My testing was with V1.15.

I need to isolate it down.

Cheers,

V1.15 with Hotfix 18c, DX9 here.

Edit: I'm never using saving situations

Edit2: I've just tried it again:
