Shift+Z Not Working With Steve's DX10

Hi guys! When I press Shift+Z to see my frames nothing shows up.....All the red lines are gone. Does anyone know why please? Thanks!

My screenshots from FRAPS are not just black also....

Strange. Happens in dx10 or 9? If @ 10, revert to 9 and check again.

 Does not work in DX9 however it did worked before I used Steve's Fixer.

 

FRAPS now does show the FPS and the screenshots are good in DX9. FRAPS does NOT seem to work in DX10.

 

Got FRAPS to work.....Just needed to update it

Try this:-

 

I choose one of about 6 different configs when launching FSX, and I also had this issue a few weeks back. I fixed it by copying it to a backup folder (so I had the settings), and then deleted the old one, letting FSX make a new one. The red info was back, and was able to be cycled through once again.

Then I just copied the changes back in from the saved config, and all was good to go!

Hello Paul,

 

Have you an idea how or if the colour of that red lettering can be changed?

I have managed to alter all the other writing in the fsx.cfg to a less obtrusive beige with

no background but I have never been able to find a reference to the writing

that appears ( or fails to :smile: ) when you press Shift+Z.
