That is one amazing looking cockpit. Glass reflections really make a difference. Wow...

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Can't agree here, Graphics doesn't seem to be at a level I would expect from a high quality payware product. The displays themselves with the reflections look ok, but the cockpit frame itself, is where it seems lacking. For example the pillar separating the windshield is to flat and narrow. The real 757's is wider, and has a more 3D appearance to it. Both Quality Wings and Captain Sim got this right on their models. The compass is also rather plain looking. Also I never have seen a 757 with an overhead layout like this one. What's interesting is the FF757 is also using the old style egg timer on the overhead like CS used. Only theirs is over the Battery, not the lower left like the CS757.

Thanks

I was totally thinking that, I think the gauges look mostly good, but the central pillar is a toothpick! The overhead panel looks like it is too high up making the Windows look too tall.

Persistent failures, those checklists, are already arguments in favor of this model :-)

I really like what I see :-)

I'm very much looking forward to this one. It will fill a huge void for the X-Plane airliner users.

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

Is it normal that on the FF 757/777 that the stairs are on the right side of the plane? Every airport I've been to the plane load passengers on the left side.

Just curious.

I asked over on Youtube, and the response I got back was because the jetways wold get in the way. Which I don't understand, beause if you use the jetways, you wouldn't use the stairs, unless maybe at the rear left side of the aircraft.

Thanks

There's not even stairs on the right side of a 757...

Yeah me too. The systems and failures looks awesome but the windscreen layout is a problem.

I think lots of developers or the X-Plane Engine / FSX Engine itself dont model this good.

Maybe when you open the airplane in the 3d program everything looks good but when imported the windscreen looks double height and short width.

I think the JarA320 has this problem to, and in FSX i think every airplane has this problem, even the NGX.

The only aircraft with correct "feel" that the window is wider and not so tall in height is the IXEG 737. I think that this is the part that makes is look so good. The upper window-border is "flat" and it is really wide and not so tall like in the real aircraft is you look at videos.

I dont blame all of it on the developers, i think this is just a problem that is hart to get right when simulating an aircraft.
