There is a significant difference between blaming "too many systems" or "number crunching" and optimizing/changing code structure.

 

We are NOT changing any of the systems and we are not reducing the amount of systems simulated.  We are optimizing how the code does its job and changing the structure of the code to improve performance.  ALL the code is still there and ALL the systems still do what they did before.

Complex systems modeling has always a certain impact on performance but it's perfectly normal! However optimizing the code without reducing the amount of functionality is always a good news. :smile:
