Some call outs on the wrong moments in the aerosoft airbus Xtended 1.5

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Before i post my problem, let me first say this is the first time i ever use FS2 crew and i have to say it gives airsimming a complete new level, i really enjoy it, keep up the good work!

Now the things i've noticed is that, when the aircraft is climbing and after set the BARO REF, the NOW call out comes at FL100 instead after the BARO REF is set to STANDARD..

The other issue is that when you are going to be in DES, if its OP DES or MANAGED, when you reached 4000 ft below your INIT ALT, in this case it was 36000, the COPILOT is already calling out that you are at 10000FT which isnt because i was nearly at 32000ft and when im flying a flight with an INIT ALT of 26000 or lower the callout of 10000ft isnt there.

Last thing is the callout of cabin and crew with the instructions that the airplane is descending and all cellphones etc have to be off and all have to be stowed is already at 26000ft instead at 8000.

Now this is what I noticed with using the EUR voice to be honest, maybe the others dont have that, still i'm wondering if anyone else who is using FS2crew with the airbus has the same issues.

I am using the last update of FS2CREW....

I hope this can b fixed,

Best regards!

Ray

Must be something in your configuration: Not a single issue you mentioned has happened to me.

Maybe some issue related to units: 'm' instead of 'ft'; your system uses '.' to separate thousands instead of ',' - something along those lines I would reckon.

Hey Ray,

when you set the Standard QNH (passing Trans Level) you say "Standard Set" what happens then? Does you Co give any FL to check?

Ray,

Make sure your FS units of measurement for altitude are set to "Feet", not "Meters"

THanks for the fast respons..

Ill check that out...

To Max: yes after saying STANDARD SET, the CO gives a FL to CHECK, but the NOW comes later, but its probably also because of the measurements settings, thanks again...

Will check it tomorow...gotta go to work now lol..

Best Regards!

Just a friendly hint:

- "Set standard" triggers the baro check

- "Standard set" is the answer to the item in "after T/O C/L - below the line" which forwards the C/L to "Approach"

(Took me years(!) to learn the difference myself ...)
