October 18, 201312 yr I waited a long time for Carenado to make this aircraft--fits well with Blue Sky Scenery. Enjoy the pictures! John
October 18, 201312 yr Hey John, nice to see someone else enjoying this plane. It was high on my list of planes I wish someone would do as well, and I think Carenado did a very credible job on it. Surprised it hasn't gotten a little more buzz. Thanks for sharing some nice images! Scott
October 19, 201312 yr Thanks for the compliments everyone, I just post the pics, Carenado and Gottfried Razek, they do the rest. The funny thing is the flight where I took the screenshots has been running for over 24 hours now--I've had it on pause all day while I was out running errands. Now I am off to enjoy others' screenshots, this is the place where Avsim comes together. John
October 19, 201312 yr Some great pics there. How does it fly? Any anomalies, and did they include a high quality sound package with it. I'll be keen on this for P3DV2 as I won't be investing in any more FSX addons until I'm able to make the decision to switch.

I'll be keen on this for P3DV2 as I won't be investing in any more FSX addons until I'm able to make the decision to switch. I am not sure about the sound--I would expect a deeper sound to her, but I don't know for sure. I might slave another sound set to her. Maybe someone with real world Mirage experience can comment. As far as flying qualities, I love them over any aircraft in the suite--they even exceed the Duke. Smooth takeoff, comfortable climb to cruise, and she hits the cruise numbers--at full throttle she hits top speed right on, and settles down to cruise speed when I ease off the throttle. I usually take her up to FL210. Landings are simply awesome--she hand flies to greaser landings every single time, slows nicely on approach and has a good view over the nose coming into the runway. I land centerline every time, not easy without rudder pedals using just my twist grip as the rudder. In the pattern she maneuvers with ease. Framerates with the steam gauges are the best I have seen with any Carenado product. Carenado listened to our feedback on what we wanted. Their niche is piston aircraft and that's what they do the best, in my opinion. John

Erich, you might want to check out this thread: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421683-pa-46-350p-looking-for-some-additonal-pre-purchase-information/ for more comments on the plane. Since you mentioned the sound set, it's the plane's weakest point to me for exactly the reason John mentions, but others have disagreed. Otherwise, I think it's a very fine effort from Carenado. Scott Thanks Scott and John for your comments. I'll just replace the sound when I buy her, but the comments overall are encouraging.
October 21, 201312 yr A lovely set John. :Applause: The aircraft looks beautiful....if there was a FS9 version I would grab it. My FS Videos
