I'm sure PMDG could help us with this in Sp2 and it really bothers me they haven't even replied to this thread.

More then likely its something with your settings or hardware (video card and or drivers).

 

There is a wealth of info on D10 topic and related issues here at avsim http://forum.avsim.net/forum/569-dx-10-discussions-hints-and-help/. Also, Steve is good at responding, so that can be your starting point in finding what is causing your specific issues.

The solution is quite simple. The reason is you seeing worse performance in DX10 because DX10 handles the CPU/GPU balance differently than in DX9. Many of are running BP=0 because it gives by far the best performance in DX9. But for DX10, this setting has the exact opposite effect, all you wanna do is change your bufferpools settings.

For DX9:

[bUFFERPOOLS]
PoolSize=0

For DX10:

[bUFFERPOOLS]
RejectThreshold=131072


That's it.
