Remove chair?

Recommended Posts

Hi. First of all - thanks for the 777! It's a great piece of work. So dont take me wrong when I ask to remove some of it :)

The chair is frankly in the way. The head rest obstructs the view when I turn left, and is clipped. If i move forward i get too crammed up in the instrumentation. If I use zoom, I get stretched terrain.

Ive tried to find a clickspot to move the chair back a bit, but I cant find anything. What am I missing?

You don't need to see every instrument in your airplane at every single stage of flight. Panning around is natural.

Also, do you have the "WideViewAspect=True" added to your FSX config file? If you're actually simming with a widescreen monitor, it helps a lot.

Ok, thanks Kyle!

Then, dear PMDG, me being an egoist, would you please add this feature :)

PS! Before people start commenting "flying without a chair? orealy?" I have my own chair to sit in, and the chair in the cockpit is just in the way, along with the yoke - which I also have mounted on my desk. The yoke in the vc can be moved away easily, and thank you for that.

On a more serious note have you tried changing the head position in the flight deck using the key sequences of which I can't recall off the top of my head, but it may be ctrl-backspace, the opposite being alt-ctrl-backspace. These may be incorrect but others may know the correct keys.

Using them you can change the head position from up/down, to and fro.......
