Anyone have the Virtavia C-17?

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately there was talk about the topic being on sale.  There are many trying to get around the policy pinned at the top of this forum.  I'm sorry if you have a problem with that but that's the policy which you must abide by.  No exceptions.  Rules are rules.  Without rules, there would be no forum.  If anyone thinks I enjoy hiding topics they are mistaken.

in all of the post here in this topic nobody even mentioned the store which have this on sale and op is just asking if the plane is worth its price.

That's because the posts have been hidden!

thanks for the clarification ... If the shop was mentioned than I can fully support the decision.

but I doubt we are allowed to to discuss sales in the bargain basement.

is there another forum section where we can discuss the worth of sales or should we just ask about the product without mentioning sales which would be logical.

edit:

or do we use the question tab on the bargain basement forum for that ?

Hmm... as someone who had a post 'hid', I'll take that into account. I didn't realize that I was breaking the rules (and yes, it seems I was) by mentioning a specific store name, only because 'circumventing the no sales posting policy' wasn't even vaguely on my mind.

My intent on commenting was not to promote any specific store, but only to mention that I've seen it on sale previously and that I hesitate each and every time, since even on sale, I'm not convinced the add-on in question holds enough value for me to purchase.  The thread had attracted my attention, since I find myself once again debating the 'to purchase or not to purchase' topic to myself.

I shall be more careful in venturing into such conversations in the future.  It seems it would be better to hold one's thoughts to one's self rather than to speak freely amongst friends.

If a post has been hidden, we cannot be blamed for not understanding the Staff's reaction, or can we?

This topic has run its course and we are now talking about my actions when I hid topics that discussed a sales item.  It has turned into a war of words.  I have hidden posts in this thread that are off topic.  I think the topic has run it's course and the OP has received the answers to his questions.
