This might very well be normal behaviour on the 777, it has a customer option to use CLB or CRZ after reaching TOC.

 

 

 

Yes, I saw this option in the FMC and am going to switch it and see if it makes a difference. It could be that I had different results, because I tested on different liveries (the issue arises with american). Is it normal to stay in crz mode on decent? I never noticed before.
