Turbulence

Is it me or dose anyone else have problems getting the aircraft to stay on course during turbulence?

Anything is going to have a tough time in turbulence.  Planes don't fly on rails, and there's a known problem with FSX turbulence.

I would recommend reading the intro manual, as it discusses this topic specifically.

Do you have a registered version of FSUIPC and if so do you have Wind Smoothing enabled?

Fly on the rails?

Fly on the rails?

It was an analogy he was making. Trains tend to give you smooth rides because the rails are generally smooth. Planes fly in the air, and with weather in the air, wind changes, pressure differences, all sorts of weather, the air isn't always smooth.

Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off.

Also the way FSX makes turbulence by it's default weather engine is... strange. (ie not like real turbulence.)
