November 16, 201312 yr Hi, today I found out that, if at night I turn the cockpit flood light on, either dim or bright, in the external view the cockpit is completely dark, as if I kept the flood light off. Is that normal? James Goggi
November 19, 201312 yr Commercial Member Anyone noticed this? Is it an FSX limitation? Haven't bothered to look, and even if I noticed, I probably wouldn't care too much, honestly. That's just me, though. It's probably related to some kind of FSX limitation, yes. Kyle Rodgers
November 19, 201312 yr Author It's a pity, because from outside you can see every sort of light of the airplane, including the pax cabin, but the cockpit is always dark, even with the flood light in bright position. James Goggi

I write this off as another partial simism. I caught a lot of flak on my first sim video for having the lights so "dim," when in reality, they'd be around that level. A lot of simmers like to turn the lights on bright for some reason. In my years of working the ramps of IAD, BCB, DVT, PHX and flying out of JYO, I've only seen a handful of cockpits with the domes on. Kyle Rodgers
