Tomorrow's P3D discussion today!

Recommended Posts

As we all know, tomorrow, November 18, Lockheed Martin will announce additional details about Prepar3d 2.0, including technical information and pricing.

For those of you who are impatient and/or pressed for time, here's tomorrow's P3D discussion thread in easy-to-read digest form:

>Hey, LM just announced P3D details!

>Wow, that's great!  I'm switching immediately!

>Meh.  Those screenshots look like FSX/FS9/XP8/Fly!/Flight Assignment ATP...

>Look at the shadows cast by those rivets!

>The rivets are supposed to be flush.  P3D sux!

>I thought the video was stuttery.  I'm not switching.

>Why would anyone switch if you can't use the PMDG Woodpigeon?

>You can use the Woodpigeon if you use the Elbonian Migration Tool!

>[This thread is now being monitored by AVSIM]

>You can't do that because of the EULA.

>The EULA sux!

>Why should I pay attention to the EULA?

>[six users are banned for EULA discussions]

>How can they expect us to pay $XXX?

>I'm studying drums.  Can I use the academic license?

>You won't violate the EULA if you promise to be bored.

>How do you know about the EULA.  Are you a lawyer?

>[Four more users are banned for EULA discussion]

>I won't switch until I can use my turns-the-jetways-purple tool!

>P3D will be great for flying high and fast but not for flying low and slow.

>P3D will be great for flying low and slow but not for high and fast because PMDG are idiots and won't let us use the Woodpigeon!

>PMDG is serious about the EULA.

>The EULA is stupid, and besides, all you need to do to get around it is...

>[seventeen users banned for EULA discussion]

>Wow, look at the volumetric fog!

>The screenshots are all too dark.

>It's not really 64-bit.

>X-Plane is the future!

>FSX is the future!

>Chuck Yeager's Air Combat is the future!

>[Thread locked]

Hope this was helpful.  Enjoy your newfound hours of free time!

Thanks for the good laugh!

I'm sure there is more truth in there than fiction, although I think it might be more appropriate for the day after the Prepar3D release.

No, I think that'll be more along the lines of:

>My T7 won't install into P3D!  Help!

>It's because of the EULA.  PMDG sux!

Great initial post.

It was good laugh.

Many may fly and some are rewarded

handsomely, but the wings of gold of a

United States Naval Aviator mean more

than flying. It is dearly bought, requires

sacrifice to keep and represents a way of life.

:LMAO: Pretty much sums up the Prepar3d discussions, still laughing :He He:

BTW: anyone else not able to give reputation points today or am I banned from doing so?

Edit: Now I can give RP again, guess it was just a glitch.

No Sir, you're too late. That already played out when the 777 was released...

Ah!  Apologies.  I missed the fun.  Haven't bought the T7 yet, have been too busy coming up the learning curve on the NGX and the Q400, and also the Moldavian migration tool, so I can install the T7 in...

Lol very funny. I'm happy using both, P3D for my home cockpit and FSX on my PC. I'm not bothered there are no PMDG planes as I'll be using FSlabs A320. And I can play on the PMDG T7 on my PC.

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.
