To be honest I'm a little nervous about the 300ER, I would be lying if I said I had never had a tail strike in the 200LR, guess I'm just a little used to the NGX. To be perfectly honest, it happened on my very first flight on my very first rotation, definantly not what I had planned for my first flight in the 777., hopefully my luck will be better with the ER.

Reply to the point of buying 777-300er to get a service pack to fix the 200, I mean we pay $90.00 for the 200 knowing that a service pack or update will fix some issues. part of the game. I love the 200 but at this point I'm not willing to spend more money on this product. ctd after ctd after ctd. at this point I wasted $90.00, I find myself back to the ngx with no ctd. Please don't misunderstand I love your products best on the market without a doubt. But I kind of thought SP and updates for $90.00 were included.

You don't have to buy the ER to get the SP.

They are just timed to release together.

The SP1 update will release concurrently with the PMDG 777-300ER, but it will not be required that you obtain the 300ER in order to get the SP1 improvements.

Relax, PMDG never has and I think I can safely say, never would charge the customer for a service pack.

With that being said, most people on the forums said that we cannot request to know the status of the PMDG B777-300ER(it`s past Christmas here in Singapore and many was saying that this will be the ultimate X`Mas present but until now not even information on it). But we who have paid for the base pack for the B777 can demand to know of the status of the service pack? No news also?

Welcome to PMDG, you must be new here.

Would you like a Service pack that doesn't fix everything and may break other things that weren't broken in the original product now?

or a service pack that actually works properly in a few months?

PMDG's policy, ever since 2003 odd, has always been "It will be released when it's finished".

PMDG never said that the service back would be released before, on or near Christmas, just some n00b fanbois did.

No I am not new here. If you read carefully that was why I wrote that since we have not paid for the B777-300ER, by right we cannot demand for it. But for the BASE PACK of the B777 which was paid for by many of us here, we can request for the service pack. Like some on this forum even states that they had to reinstall FS X all over again due to the PMDG B777 crashing their whole system and still crashes their FS X. But it was a PMDG official statement that the B747 V2 will be release within 2 to 3 months(don`t kill me as I can really remember the exact of month) after the release of the B777. Up to now still no news on that one either.
