Skymaxx Pro this weekend

Where can I find this NOAA plug in? It's weather depiction is for the whole world or just for the USA?

Whole World. You choose above which altitude it starts injecting. Have to install Python 2.7x

And how many cpu cycles does this swallow? Any frame rate impact?

No impact that I can tell.

 

Only problem is, you define a "transition altitude" up to which METAR ( RW  ) data is used, and above which the NOAA GFS plugin starts injecting, cloud layers, wind layers, temperature layers and also turbulence. The transition can be abrupt in all these aspects, presently there being no blend between the two zones
