November 28, 201312 yr The colors in P3D seem set to a cold palette - while in FSX they tend to be a warm color palette, any ideas on how to change it ? you can see how it looks in this short video I made http://www.lockonfiles.com
November 28, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hmm.. the Shade application on FSX did a wonderful job of that, but perusing the support forums, it seems that the author isn't exactly providing support, much less any indication of updating the application to work with P3D. However, it seems that the program was writing to a set of bitmaps in FSX, perhaps it might be possible to do things manually? Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
November 28, 201312 yr Author good question - I have shade, but I am not sure it will work, as it is either Dx9 or Dx10 and P3D is DX11 the colors are definitively in a different palette from the one used in FSX. http://www.lockonfiles.com
November 28, 201312 yr I've noticed that it varies depending on where you are in the world. It might be only my impression but living in England where the sun is very low on the horizon, it had that dull look about it that England in real life has. I went to sunnier climes, and the sun came out. Maybe it's just my imagination
