looking for more realism

Recommended Posts

I have some MSE v2 states but I am wondering what would a good realistic night lighting add on payware that works well with fsx default and photoscenery and not too hard on the system.  I emailed MSE about possible release of their night lighting but nobody ever responded back and personally the lighting looks horrible in MSE at night.  I was flying over MSE California over LAX and there is so many patches of light and no light.  A power plant is partially lit up and the other part of it is  not.  Many issues and who knows when the release will be of night scenery from MSE.  I read that once all the USA is done they would start working on night.

Ultimate Terrain X - USA...has night lighting plus all the benefits of vector data.  It works for me.

For LAX, I purchased MegasceneryX SoCal which, when placed on top of MSE Southern California, will show night-lighting and fix all the anomalies found in MSEV2 Southern California.  Problem with MegasceneryX SoCal was the fact it did not cover south of San Diego or all the way over to the Nevada border.  With these two products together, it shows it all now.  I have not tried UTX USA yet but heard the night lighting works.  I suspect you just enable night lighting and turn everything else off n UTX?

I've read about the night experience x by zinertek with 3D lighting but haven't heard back from developer yet. Got good reviews but I want to make sure it will work with MSE before I buy it.

I've also inquired about the night lighting for MSEv2 and gotten no response...they seem to be avoiding the question which is a little concerning for the future of this product.  It's a real shame because the night lighting in their previous products was some of the best I've ever seen.

Could someone post a picture of what UTX lighting looks like with MSEv2?  So far the only pictures I've seen are with the previous MSE products which doesn't really reflect what it looks like with MSEv2.

Thank you very much!  I'm really looking forward to the night lighting in this product and if it's as good or better than the night lighting in your previous product then it will only encourage me to keep buying!  :)
