Can someone show how to configure CCC based on the setting you are using in Radeon Pro?  Or should I download the Radeon Pro app to change my P3D settings?

Thanks,

John

The old Affinity mask for P3D surfaces again,  a simple test for those with  8 cores is to start P3D(with no AM set in the cfg)  then start the task manager in Windows (alt+ctrl+del) once opened, go to the performance tab at the top, click open the resource monitor tab at the bottom right, check the box next to the Prepar3D.exe file. The resource monitor will show how P3D is allocated to the 8 cores (Prepar3D is doing this automatically when it is run). For a example on how the Affinity mask is not assigned automatically run FSX (that has no AM set in the cfg tweaks), go through the same process with the task manager, except under with the resource manager tick the fsx.exe file, you will notice that of the 8 cores only 1 is used to run FSX.

This is the beauty of P3D it does not require the cfg to be heavily tweaked, it does most of the old fsx.cfg automatically.

Having said all of this, if the tweaks improve your performance then do it.

Thanks Q_Flyer.
