José,

Check your Just Flight account, I hadn't received an email and thought to check it out a few hours ago regardless, and to my surprise it's there ;-)

Cheers,

Pete

SimMarket and JustFilght have posted this update, I don't think FSPilotShop have yet, it's not available directly from Majestic (they push it to their distributors). As it's a complete install remember to backup your aircraft.cfg so you can restore any addon repaint textures you may have.

Oh and don't be a spanner like me and forget to back up the mjc84.ini (which is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\mjc8q400\ini) otherwise you will have to recalibrate the controls!

Just Flight doesn't send me a mail yet!

Downloading now from JF! Is necessary to unninstall 1.007 first?

Majestic states on their forum that it is a full installer, so you should remove 1.007 before installing 1.008...

As ckyliu mentioned, do not forget to back up the mjc84.ini file to avoid having to recalibrate the controls from scratch... I forgot that one on going to 1.007 and it mildly annoyed me...

No need to remove 1.007 first, it seems 1.008 will completely delete your Majestic folder before installing.

I know this because I backed up my config and aircraft.cfg files and kept them in the same folders under a "backup" name but they were gone after the install.  Addon liveries were gone too.

Thank you very much for that.
