Wow indeed!

Recommended Posts

I came back, I gambled with Prepar3d 2.0, I used FSX with a gigantic amount of addons, and got sick of tweaking.

I re-installed X plane after seeing some beautiful screenshots over in the AVSIm screenshots forum, and WOW! I must say, now it looks and flies smooth and GOOD!

And the night environment is something  else!

I have it setup perfectly now!

HD mesh V2

Osm europe + Autogen

European autogen library.

All I'm missing now is some good ATC, AI and some good high detail airports and it will be PERFECT!

I think I may invest in skymaxx pro to get some decent clouds. And I think Ill go purchase a decent plane.....

P.s the crazy thing is, I installed this to my external USB 3.0 drive, and it worked perfectly! Unreal!

The HD mesh really adds to the WoW factor in X-Plane,  especially how it makes the landclass seem more realistic.  I knew it was going to be a big release when it hit and I am still very impressed with what Andras and Albert have done.....

At one point I was mulling over the idea of a global texture enhancement for XPX, but I feel as if that is now not necessary.....

Hope that you could enhance the desert textures in the southwest United States or add it as an update in your current product.

Get that SkyMaxx Pro guarantee you won't regret it. It is an absolute must.

A decent plane if you are a GA like me, any of the Carenado planes, but the Archer is probably the most realistic. Can't help with the Heavy Iron, but if the IXEG 737 ever gets released, it will be an absolute must. that will probably be the only airliner, I fly.

Oh, yes anything from Leading Edge Simulations is worth more than the asking price.

I just bought it, and I'll check out Carenado now! I like GA.

Is there any addon like fs passengers or air cargo?

Also. Is there any progress on AI addon or ATC?

make sure you install the newest update on v1.1. really improves performence on skymax.

no word on ai or atc. however avsim might sit down with LR soon for an interview and one question that was asked constently was about ai and atc. im sure they will address and say what their plan for releasing is
