Button Mapper does not see my Cougar MFD devices

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I purchased Efis Panel Builder for x-plane.

Now I want to map the buttons from the EFIS NAV display to my Cougar MFD's.

Unfortunately the device does not show up in Button Mapper

I can press any button on any usb device but there is no response in the button mapper window.

I reinstalled it several times but no joy.

Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate has no trouble recognizing the Cougar MFD devices 1 and 2.

Please advise.

Can you check that the Cougar MFD is working correctly in Windows? (It looks like you have done this already, just wanted to make sure).

Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers then right-click on your Cougar device and select Game Controller Settings. A window open, select Properties and see if the device shows your buttons.

What other devices have you tried?

I am and several other users are using Button Mapper on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Have you tried running ButtonMapper as Administrator?

Can you send me a screen shot of ButtonMapper when it is on the Configuration Mode?
