Recommended Posts

If you want turbulence you need ASN.

Thank you very much for the update.

To the Majestic guys,

I've tried the new v1.008 and it is fantastic! ......... Among other very noticeable changes and improvements, I noticed that the APPR mode is no longer 'losing' the signal and reverting to PITCH mode.   It still requires very careful supplementary power control to stay on the GS but I believe this is true of any aircraft without an autothrottle, where manual power and speed control is required.

On approach into EGNT the new turbulance activity was very obvious with some very convincing lumps and bumps! The only negative point I could make about the new version is that FSX will still not close after a session with the Q400.  For me, it will still hang until the process is closed via Task Manager.

Superb work!

Good to hear about the turbulence and windshear.  I will get the Q400 Pro edition when it comes out for specific use in P3D when I move over there (no sense for me buying new things for FSX if I plan to make a total transition sometime in the new year).  The discussions regarding the airplane's interaction with the weather environemnt was one of the things I had been following closely, so I'm glad that is no longer an issue.  Much looking forward to flying this airplane.

It's OK I wont explain as "honesty" it would be a waste of time.

@Dave, I will buy the next Opus as Opus is so good and it will be great to see what they come up with, it will more than likely surpass ASN. I'm happy to support them all as long as it means we get better and better weather engines.

Thanks for the report Dave.Just gets better.

Julian Evans, have you tied ASN or you just judging with out knowing?

But if you don't try or buy ASN then I agree OPUS is second best.

I wont use any silly buttons these forums give.

Sorry Dave, was meant to add a smile to my comment. Just this old colonial boy takin' the mick.

I am still using the ASN demo, and will add it to my collection. There are some features I really like, and I prefer the historical option which is done better than Opus. If I fly in North America, ASN fits in better.

I have cornered the market in ATC addons, Lawn Mower Engines, so might as well add weather addons  to the list.

Is the clock bug fixed yet?  I saw it earlier on a "fixed for the next release" list, but it's not among the bug fixes on this list.

I am having issues with fuel loading, it all ends up in the left tank.  I have to use the MS Fuel loader to correct it.

Also the Altitude reset button doesn't work from flight sim.

I suppose you can now map any key to altitude reset (or other action), because with the new version there is a possibility to link keyboard and joystick buttons with MJC variables.

Hello Bob,

We have done some work to the clock, and the issues that were experienced previously are not an issue anymore.
