simulator input into throttle quadrant

Recommended Posts

For a while now, I have been reading about homemade cockpit and I have decided to make the move. I am in the process of building a 737 throttle quadrant. I see that with the combination of FSUIPC and Leo Bodnar's card, the HMI connection is fairly easy. What I am wondering is, how can I have the simulator controling a part of the cockpit? For instance, to increase power in the simulator is easily achieved by manually moving the throttle handles forward, but if I want to adjust my speed via the MCP (autopilot), how is the information transmitted to the quadrant in order to have the throttle handles physically moved back?

Looking forward to make this work.
