6800GT is slow... anyone have any ideas?

First thanks for the replies.As for my performance before- No stutters. Everything was as good as it could get on my system. My PC was on spec or higher than any reference system I'd compared it to. Why the new card? Why not :) I'm impulsive, and a technology freak. Besides, I want to hook up two monitors and Nvidia has better support for that.Next, I tried driver cleaner- cool program- but didn't help. I was going to skip the mobo driver reinstall, but found newer drivers, so thanks for making me do that. Still no luck.Arghh- MS has taught me to troubleshoot and fix just about anything. I can subnet, supernet, route, and build a SQL cluster with my eyes closed, but I can't get a friggin video card to work like it's supposed to :(I guess I will try re-installing the OS. What a nightmare- I have HUNDREDS of programs on here. From FS (19 gigs), to VS.NET, to 3DS MAX. Over 100 gigs of programs, and I don't store A SINGLE file on this partition. That is the nice part- All my important stuff is on a drive that won't get formatted. But still a major pain.
