Icing question

Recommended Posts

I just bought this unit this week Dec 2013 in case someone reads this in the later year . Got it cheap for a xmas price-- the HD . I have Opus weather and took off out of Port Hardy for Vancouver in FSEconomy didn't get up to 9,000feet and the ol girl  started slowing down and losing engine power big time.. right away I looked for icing switches and had the pitot switch on, so I hit the "H" key for icing and she come to live right away and the engines sparked back up . Is this all normal in this bird running when it comes to icing?

This is a well-known FSX bug.. so I guess you could say it is "normal".

If it bothers you enough, you can add an invisible little XML gauge that

turns on Carb Heat whenever the engine is running..
