P3D2 long haul test strikes back...sort of (Caution: Large Images)

Interesting.. Good to know.. I'll give 84 and external limiter a try on my next legit flight and see if I notice any differences..

Nice shots- do you use NI, and if so could you please share your settings.

 

I have yet to make the jump to P3D-V2, but am about to.

The moral of the story is, P3D2 is mostly fine. If it's broken for you, it's because you broke it. 

 

I don't think that this is entirely true (and I do note the smiley). I think that there are also certain hardware configurations when combined with high end slider settings that bring out the worst in P3d2.

 

But my experience has been pretty much the same as your. It's rock solid and looks good.

Nope, just the built in HDR with shadows.

 

Looks like gauge back lighting isn't working.

Honestly a bit disappointed to see that the 757 doesn't seem to have backlit/emissive  gauges in P3D2 at least.
