FSL Airrbus vs Airbus Extended X

Recommended Posts

Sure, but all you did was post to denigrate the AXE since it isn't up to your "standards".

Your single contribution to this thread before I called you on it was to imply the AXE is a poor quality product, which alone tells me all I need to know.

Have you nothing better to do ?

Never said AXE is "poor quality product", you made that up when tried to read between lines I wrote.

No, I really didn't, but I'm not going to waste any more time on you.

Choosing quantity over quality, as you put it, is an either/or, with a perfectly clear intent.

Do you not understand the meaning of the words you choose, or do you just assume that of other members of this forum ?

I actually do have better things to do now, so take care.

When you consider the kind of simulation FSL are doing it isn't c taking too long really. The NGX didn't take a long time? Oh wait. But the 777 was faster and so will the subsequent FSL products be

Honestly, asking for comparative opinions to a product that doesn't exist yet is like asking "which is the better team, the 2013 Denver Broncos or the 2017 Washington Druglords?"

For day to day ops the AXE is brilliant. It's far above most addons out there that aren't pmdg.

Airbus X Extended is pretty complex. I would say that it's probably halfway between Qualitywings and PMDG complexity. However, Flightsimlabs' A320 should be a masterpiece, given the incredible work they did on the Concorde. They modelled every system, including the flight engineer's panel on the most complex aircraft ever to take to the skies so they should absolutely master an aircraft that is half as complex.

Thanks,

Kevin L

Having put in a word on behalf of the AXE, I'll put in another in favor of FSL.  I'm repeating something I've said in other threads, but it's worth saying again here that even as a more casual simmer, I get something extra out of the full-grade professional sims like the NGX.  There's an extra degree of polish that comes with all the development time and attention to detail, so that even if I'm pressed for time, start the NGX with engines running, use the fuel and payload presets and such, there's something special about the way it handles complex tasks like managing its descents and hitting all the speed and altitude constraints that makes it really rewarding to work with.  Assuming that FSL will provide a similar range of quickstart options for those of us who don't always have hours to run all the procedures, I'm hoping to find the same level of finish in their A320.  Just noted for the sake of balance, and for what it's worth...

A couple of ugly hairy chests in this thread ( :P) ... anyway:

I like the Aerosoft Airbus a lot; it "hyped" me at least three times between v1.04 and current v1.16.

Still looking forward to the FSL Airbus ...   B)

When the FSLabs is relased,I'll buy it.but I'm quite happy at the moment with the AXE.

Once the bugs have been ironed out in the P3D v2,then it will be amazing.

FSlabs Airbus needs to be right up there with PMDG and I think it will be.

I can see some of you love pressing the buttons because am not happy claping, It's now 3 years and counting, it will not matter if it's NGX/777 standard. But another year and we might all be in P3D, then they will have to make it work for that...so it goes on.

It would be nice to have a good update from them. Giving just some idea how there doing. It could go down as the longest time in development or was that the PMDG MD?

I'm not sure how long the MD-11 took, but I believe that PMDG spent 4 years on the NGX
