Installation issue

Recommended Posts

Hello There !

.... I decided to go with Linda, you guys told me she is nice ....... lol

I purchased the A2A Cessna 172, and since not all switches bottoms, knobs  are functioning, or not functioning properly, and since FSUIPC doesn't really recognize A2A or confusing it with the stock C172, I

thought Linda can help ....so I installed Lind or at list I tried.

I launched the apps .... I see some of the devices but Lind tells me

FSX/FSUIPC Config

*FSUIPC Files not found .....

and that's it Nada for there  ..... that is not nice at all

So what do we do ???????

Cheers

As a wild guess I would say that it is necessary to run FSUIPC from within FSX, make any required changes and close it. That may do the trick.

Hello Guys !

..tnx for coming  back to me

I follow the " introducing Lind"

My FSUPIC is a registered copy V.4.924

but upon initialing Linda I see "FSUPIC files not found"

I stop here, assuming that I need FSUPIV to continue

What next ????

Have no idea what does it mean, but I picked the A2A Cessna 172R and noticed that the Saitek buttons knobs are responding, I was trying to assign an action but nothing really is happening

It sounds like either Linda cant gain access to the FSUIPC.ini because UAC is switched on and your FSX install is inside the default install location i.e. the Program Files folder. Or possibly you haven't installed Linda properly.

Inside the linda download package the folders;

Linda

Linda CFG

Need to be copied to the FSX Modules folder.

Also the files Linda.exe and iPcReady.lua should be in the Modules folder too.

If Linda.exe is not in the correct place I think you will get this error as it is expecting to find FSUIPC4.ini in the same folder as itself.

Cheers, Andy.
