Missing features

I've probably deselected something in error but I can no longer see the lists of recent posts and of posts I've participated in on the opening page.

 

Also, when writing this post the formatting tool bar (bold italic etc) is no longer there: neither is the selective quote button.

Probably the system was undergoing maintenance.  Appears to be showing now.

I'm afraid it isn't. there's still

 

no lists of recent and contributed to posts

 

no reply to or selective quote buttons

 

no tool bar when creating or replying to posts

 

Also although I can upload an image, there's now no means of attaching it so I can't even show you what's happening!

 

EDIT: I checked and it's OK on my other PC. Any ideas what it may have inadvertently set to do this? I have no problems with other sites.
