MV 407 pricing and info

Recommended Posts

Ok... so we now have pricing and sales information:

If you were not quick enough to get in on the pre-order (which ends shortly), pricing is as follows:

1) FSX/P3Dv1.4 39.99
2) P3Dv2 39.99
3) Both 59.99

Now, some of you are REALLY going to be angry about this but... I suggest that you consider it this way: For us, V2 and FSX are NOT the same. It's a whole other layer of work for us to support both platforms. As time passes, this will become more and more difficult.

So this is the way it will be. We aren't the first to do so and we will not be the last. You want to play on two platforms? It will cost you for two platforms.

If you try and use a platform specific product in a non-supported platform, we are not, repeat NOT responsible for the results.

As well, the FSX (F1 wrapped version) is the only one that comes with a guarantee.

Simmarket will have all three versions for sale shortly after release.

There are quite a bit of code changes required for the P3D v2 version. Those changes are reflected in the price. Just saying.

You don't have to pay 59.99. You can pay 39.99 and get the one you want.

You want both? That's the price. It's a fair price given the hoops we have to jump through to make it native.

FSX is to Prepar3D as FS9 is to FSX. There are simply too many differences in both modeling and coding format for them to be treated as the "same platform."
