Since FTX Vector and UTX essentially do the same thing, you will only need to wait for FTX Vector, no need to use both. Besides, FTX vector is global vector data, while UTX for FSX needs to be purchased for the US, EU, etc. Are the Ultimate Terrain guys even considering making UTX for P3D?

Everyone should make stuff for P3Dv2 - especially since LM got rid of the specific EULA info stating anyone can use P3D.

PMDG for P3Dv2 and the 1900D by Carenado. Otherwise, I know Wx Direct by REX Studios isn't far aware.

Since FTX Vector and UTX essentially do the same thing,

UTX provides both improved vectors and land class. FTX Global Vector does only vectors. FTX OpenLC will pick up the land class improvements, but that product appears to be well down the road, except for the folks who are interested in flying solely within Europe:

That's why I said they do essentially the same and not the same thing since UTX provides some LC data, but is limited to only the region of the package (US, EU. etc). Although I would assume that anyone buying FTX Vector would also buy their Global LC product as well rather than piece together LC data from various sources like UTX and any other regional products.

That EULA change was done?

I was unaware

Does anyone know, why licence statements on the P3D website haven't changed as per Dec 25th? P3Dv2 has been out long enough for a website update, right?

So long as you're not using the program as a video game, you would probably, like most of us, fall under the Professional License, using the product for Learning or Simulation. (my kid doesn't qualify as he only wants to crash the Red Bull plane into the Eiffel Tower)

Yep you'd go for the pro license... but at least theres no mention of entertainment... meaning you could use it for that

You mean studying physics of aircraft at different trajectories, and the tensile strength of the Eiffel Tower.
