Hello, i saw a post awhile back claiming that desert regions had airports full of grass, as i fly mainly in desert regions, this can be a major game-breaker for me. Did they address this issue? If not whats holding them back? (Im guessing it just needs a simple fix)

Because most people want to fly in overly plush settings even when it is unrealistic to do so.

Personally, I don't mind a little grass in the desert, but I can see where you are coming from when wanting a more realistic simulation.

I remember when people were asking what was with the strange textures on the hills of FTX PNW. Turns out they didn't like the look of the clearcutting, which is an all too common logging practice here in BC.
