With ASN "Disable Turbulance and Thermal Effects" in FSX weather settings?

Am I supposed to Disable this setting in the FSX Weather menu in FSX when running ASN?

 

Does ASN simulate these effects based on the weather independantly from FSX?

ASN bypasses the FSX weather settings, so enabled or not will make no difference.
