Wide Screen

Recommended Posts

Someone had a question some time ago, about the effect of really wide screen monitors in FS.

I've been playing with a 2560x1080 screen, which at first glance seems impossibly wide and skinny.

Surprising how quickly you get used to the extra (50% in my case) real estate on the sides.

But any thought of 2D panels is consigned to the bin - my 1900x1200 monitor had them barely useable, but not here.

The Carendo products fit the bill quite well: VC with most of the panel width visible, plus 2D popups for doing the instruments. I think they develop on a widescreen system!

Thanks! A couple more... here's the VC spread:

I'm getting used to the aspect, and may keep it on a while longer
