Middle click to pan around in P3D

Featured Replies

There was this feature in EZDok Cam where you hold the middle mouse button while moving your mouse, you can pan your view around. Right now in order to do this you have to hold spacebar while you move the mouse. Is there a way you can change this somehow and assign the middle mouse button to pan around instead of holding down the spacebar? It feels a lot better and more natural this way.

My mouse "center scroll wheel" held down while moving the mouse around works just fine with EZdok.

Have you configured your EZdok Options/General page?

In the EZdok panel, click ML tab for the planes you want to use middle mouse as a pan..........when you open up the EZdoc console, right below where you see your plane name, you see the tabs that can be used for Zoom, TIR, etc.  again - ML does the job for me.

Tom,

ML is another type of panning.

That ML button does not work with the middle mouse (scroll wheel/button) function/pan.

My ML button is not selected (not lit).

Vaughn,

"Me probably wrong", if so, my BAD -

What I've been doing - I'll click on a view, ex. Pilots Eyes, and I turn ML off, as I don't want to pan around in my VC - I have other cameras set for that.  Wing View, I have ML clicked and it's lit -

In "that" view, I can press and hold my middle mouse button and pan all day long.

We may not be talking about your issue as posted, if so, I apologize for the wrong answer.

Have a blessed one.

Hi

If you have FSUIPC, then go to the "Miscellaneous" tab.  There is a check box there which will operate the "Mouse Look" function.   I got mine working this morning.

petehowell, what version of FSUIPC do you have? and when you say you got it working, do you mean you are able to get it working with EZdok or the built-in panning in P3D?
