June 18, 20169 yr Nah we haven't been out there for 10 years. We're currently in Ashburn among all of the data farms along the greenway. June 19, 20169 yr Commercial Member Nah we haven't been out there for 10 years. We're currently in Ashburn among all of the data farms along the greenway. Nice. I could've sworn it got moved off the airport and another FAA group moved in, but every time I mentioned it to someone there, I was told "nah, they're still here, you just can't walk in anymore." Then again, if we all believed airport pilot lounge talk... I worked a contract position at the old Verizon megaplex back in the land of farms. Yay for being close to the Amazon AWS servers at least? June 19, 20169 yr Haha we share a building with Amazon. And technically, I believe you still can do a walk-in briefing. You'd have to tell the gate guard, you're a visitor. I'm pretty sure you'd be the very first one to get one at the new location. Lol you'd be the talk of the facility for weeks. August 11, 20169 yr being realistic here..I think its only a matter of time that one of you major Aircraft developers "See the light" and use common sense and notice that: The ATR series has always been and will continue to be very popular in the real world, and in the simulator. The Q400 sincerely has been around since 99...and it is all you see in Mainland North America now, but until as recently as 2013...the ATR 72-212 and 500 were still running the Miami - Florida/Bahamas, Dallas - Texas/Arkansas, and San Juan - Eastern Caribbean/Dominican Republic routes.. for American Eagle...for over 20 years! and before them, the ATR 42 as there also. Delta and Continental Connection also had them for a while.. They might be unpopular now, but you only have to travel 90 miles off mainland North America to the Bahamas,or Cuba, or Mexico nd Central America, where you will find the ATR 72 and 42 are the most popular product all the way down to Brazil..Brazil has LOADS of them.. And I havent even mentioned Europe, where with the exception of Germany, and to certain extent Britain...the rest of them all are buying ATR. Africa i believe has mixed feelings in general, and some buy Q400 others buy ATR. but this is here the ATR is proving itself the most popular..ASIA..with popultion billions, and the need for thousands upon thousands of aircraft...the ATR 72 is the most popular turboprop of Asia. And with the new -600 series, launched in 2009, and the new perspective in the aviation industry based on fuel efficiency, savings for the airline etc, the Q400 is falling back even further. Its all about being green and saving money now.. An ATR series for FSX/P3D/DTG will be very popular.. and it has the capability of outselling the Majestic Q400 by far..if marketed well.. But im talking about a series..all the way from the -200 up to the 600 series. But if all of them cant be done..I'd say these should be done: ATR 42: 500 / 600 ATR 72: 212 / 500 / 600

In fact...I'll buy you every model of the ATR they build. Sadly...other than my genuine appreciation for your passion of the ATR.....the next replies to your post after mine will have nothing to do with what they build next, only that you've violated the posting rules here at the PMDG forum. I hope they do build the ATR, as I think its a nice plane, then again there are not too many planes I don't like. However, given the dev-to-market time it takes to get a "Quality" aircraft out the door, I'm thinking an ATR, even if it was the next project, is many, many years away. Welcome to the forum by the way. Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
