Love the series. The DC-8 has a spot in my heart too...

 

I flew from Amsterdam to Vancouver in this aircraft - in 1977

 

Memories.... -_-

Neat picture there too Bert. First time I ever flew on an airplane was with my grandmother, Toronto to Prestwick Scotland on a DC-8, also with CP Air (1978). I still have my ticket and the deck of cards they gave me. Back then you used to get all kinds of swag (post cards, soap bars, playing cards, matches and so on). I also flew to Vancouver BC on the CP Air DC-8 "SkyBus" that went cross country on a red eye. Back then they let you sit in the cockpit!
