January 11, 201412 yr Hello all, contrary to what this looks like, I did do my research and was adamant about getting the XP setup correctly before adding planes and scenery. I was going along pretty good with my joystick and hatswitch getting close to where I wanna be and then changed some rendering options (turning up a little higher). Since then, I cannot for the life of me change views anymore. Whether by keyboard shortcut or via menu, I am stuck in 2D cockpit view. What in the world did I do wrong and can someone get me straightened out? Mario Di Lauro

January 11, 201412 yr Author That's the thing - I cannot change the view via menu neither. No clue what is going on! Mario Di Lauro

I was gonna say delete preferences totally, but that works too! We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. January 11, 201412 yr Author Excellent advice guys!! That did it. So I assume this is equivalent to deleting the fsx.cfg file huh? Thanks a million!!! Now time to see what other kind of trouble I can get myself into - huge learning curve here. Mario Di Lauro
