October 15, 20169 yr I really don't remember my first flight, but one early flight that was memorable when I was 8 years old we were a flight coming back from Amsterdam to JFK on KLM DC-10. We were kind of near the front. As we woke up, my mom was kind of hysterical as she did not see my teenage sister and wondered if she had even gotten on the flight (even though she remembered seeing her). Apparently in the middle of the flight, the pilot made an announcement that there were empty seats and people could use them. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
October 15, 20169 yr I don't remember my first flight but the earliest one that stands out in memory is when the plane we were supposed to be on had repeated mechanical problems and a Douglas DC10 made a landing at our airport (which would have been Baltimore Friendship - haven't heard that name in many years) to pick us up. We had always flown on small jets (737s and MD80s I guess) and I remember as we were taxiing, you couldn't even see the taxiway because of the size of the plane. Its the biggest plane I've ever been on. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
