OpusFSX Beta Version 3.46.4 is now available for download on our website.

Remember when installing the OpusFSX_v346_Beta.msi file you must uninstall your current version before installing the new version (do not delete your previous \OpusFSX installation folder). After installing please check all the settings in your Configure and Weather dialogues. You can download from http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi/downloads.htm

Dynamic Wind Control (DWC) now requires any sudden large deviation (i.e. 15 knots or 15 degrees or more) in the ambient winds to be sustained for more than 2 seconds before reacting and trying to coax the wind back to its targeted values.

Dynamic Wind Control (DWC) is now continuous with exception to large sudden step changes in ambient wind.

Three new FSXSERVER program arguments have been included to allow uses to specify the number of available view modes in the simulator (default 5). Running the program with a VM3, VM4, or a VM6 argument (e.g. FSXSERVER VM4) will set the number of available view modes available within the simulator to 3, 4, or 6 respectively. The default number is 5. The number of available view modes can be determined simply by pressing the 'S' key and counting the total number of view modes that can be cycled. The normal sequence in the simulator is,

VC - Spot - Tower - Aircraft - External

Giving a total of five (5) different view modes. For users that say have the Tower view disabled, the VM4 argument can be used to reduce the available view modes and allow the correct selection of the user's external aircraft cameras.

I have edited your childish post to get rid of the bad language..

The software works fine, there are many private simmers and companies using the LiveView element of OpusFSX and OpusFSI.

You can adjust views in full screen using LCC.

As per our Announcements topic, make sure you upgrade to OpusFSX Beta Version 3.49.3 since there was a problem copying CAM files in the version 3.49.3.

I assume you have followed the advice in our FAQ ...

You must set up your drive sharing, security, permissions etc. as described in the Getting Started guide so that the server and client systems can access each other BOTH ways. You will find your configured camera definition files for your client systems stored in the c:\OpusFSX installation folder on your server system, they are named < CLIENTNAME>.CAM

Disable any firewall or anti-virus. Run the program in Admin mode.

If you have any problems we will be pleased to assist. Don't assume that just because you can't configure your network properly that there is something wrong with the software, the problem is clearly your attitude.

I have deleted your post as we do NOT tolerate such foul language, childish or aggresive posts here. This is a public forum where we offer support and friendly advice, but not in response to such rude posts.

There are many thousands of very happy Live Camera and Live View users who do not seem to have any problems at all in setting there systems up, including several professional organisations. They don't seem to have had any problems in using the package, even using Windowed view on the server system whilst setting up cameras (of course you can use full screen mode on all the client systems, the windowed mode restriction ONLY applies to the main server system). We have provided full screen support on the main server using LCC for camera editing full screen in OpusFSI.

OpusFSI Beta Version 4.01.1 is now available for download on our website.

Remember when installing the OpusFSI_v401_Beta.msi file you must uninstall your current version before installing the new version (do not delete your previous \OpusFSI installation folder). The Camera Management dialog main option buttons reordered to reflect frequency of use. The Delete button text has been coloured dark red to help distinguish it from the other options.

The Camera Editing dialog now includes options to edit the previous and next cameras in the camera list. These button options are labelled with the symbols '<<' and '>>' respectively. The Live Camera Control button has also been relabelled LCC to make room for the new camera select options.

Please note, when either of the previous or next options are used the software assumes it must save the current camera configuration. If you wish to cancel any edit operation you must still press the Cancel option.

The Live Camera Control (LCC) feature has been enhanced with new Adjust and Create functions. The Adjust option can be used to adjust the current camera's eye point position and automatically save the modified camera view's configuration. The Create option can be used with the current LCC adjusted eye point and the current camera view to automatically create a new cloned camera view with an adjusted eye point position. The new cloned camera is selected for view on the display and appended to the camera list which is then automatically saved to disk. The text for the Adjust and Create button options on the LCC dialog has been coloured dark red to indicate their permanent nature.

The Shortcuts LCC dialog has been modified to include button and key options for the new LCC Adjust and Create functions.
