Don't leave FSX,  puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!!!!!!  It's a great sim, in DX10 mode, and we need two ( don't we all ? )

Now in serious mode:

- There is still no weather engine making X-Plane 10 as good as we can have in FSX;

- There is still no PMDG-like add-on for the Boeings in X-Plane 10... ( but for Airbus, and if you don't mind using, for now, a 2d panel, and limited functionality compared to, say Aerosoft AXE, you have Peter's A321/21 and QPAC A320 v2 - this one a lot cheaper...

- There is still no good AI Traffic

Agreed. Support both sims and in turn support both developers. That way they'll keep making cool addons!

What happened to World Traffic? I thought that was going to be XP's savior in that regard?

I think a lot of people are looking for a "fire and forget" AI solution like MyTrafficX or real schedule based like UT2.

Well I'm defo on the move over to X Plane, no doubt about that it is the future, it runs soooo very well on my system, I am/was getting so many ctd in fsx and I tryed to solve it but it kept crashing, I am sooo tired of fsx, it's old. I can put up without traffic and pmdg.........for now, sure I will miss them but ya gotta go with the future, move forward, so it really is goodbye to fsx, for good. I bought one of Carenado's planes yesterday and runs soooooo smoooooooth, and the feel of it, just awesome! I need to order the discs and get out of this demo mode.

Cheers guys!

although world traffic does add AI to xplane its still not complete. for example no interactions with ATC and it does take a good ammount of work to get it set up.

however i think within a year or 2 we will have a great AI for xplane

I'm so tempted to try the demo of that software now. However I have no time to setup plans, so I'm asuming you can download user created ones....?

Ian

FYI i dont have the software so im only saying what i been reading on the forums. my information could be very well wrong

from what i have read you can def download user created ones. infact the community really tries hard to create content for AI. fortunatly there was a major bug with the 64 bit version of the software and it seams like it has just been recently fixed.( software has been released for more than 5 months now) one big problem is that there is only one person working on the software.

another problem is there was few airplanes but i think there has been alot of community donations for airplane so it should be comprehensive. as far as different airlines go im not too sure how that works.

i would drop by the forums and see for myself rather take my word
