Symphony of Science

Recommended Posts

Does anyone remember Schoolhouse Rock? It was an American interstitial programming series of animated musical/educational short films (and later, videos) that aired during the Saturday morning children's programming on the U.S. television network ABC. The topics covered included grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics. The last episodes were produced in 2009.

These vids I'm posting are part of a new series called Symphony of Science based on the same concept, using autotune and speches from scientists to produce a musical primer on the sciences. I love these things, and just wanted to share. ^_^

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Thanks! That was quite interesting and entertaining...

...which of course means these won't catch on and ever be shown on any network, no matter how obscure it might be. :Hmmmph:

Well i'm glad you liked it. I've always been a science geek, and often my enthusiasm just meets raised eyebrows, so I was fully prepared for this thread to not even get any views.

If even one person liked it then i'm happy!

Two final favorites (though there are many more) then I shall desist.

Who needs a network when you have YouTube? There's a whole bunch of YouTube channels that produce content that's better than 95% of what's shown on TV and on an equal footing with the last 5%.

For those who like science I can highly recommend checking out the following YouTube channels:

SmarterEveryDay

MinutePhysics

Veritasium

ChrashCourse

TheBrainScoop
